  Who thinks Killing or Dying for your country is a good Idea?

  Afer all.......... we are a War like nation........We like it.......... thats why.......the U.S spends 53% of its budget on "defense"...and we do like our "Freedom"..................freedom of cheap gas that is.

  I went to my 20th class reunion 20 years ago and saw a friend who went to Vietnam ( we were both raised JWs) He said to me "I went to Vietnam and I have no regrets!".............I said "I didn't go............ and I have No regrets"

  P.S.........Of the 63 Guys who went over there, in my class (class of 67)...............no one died over there..........4 guys came back killed themselfs!

  My Son Told Me Today That..................

  he really wants to be a navy seal!

  my hubby is ex navy and so was his grandfather so he has always heard stories about the navy.

  he will be 12 on dec. 19th and i know he has been interested in the military in general since he was about 8. my first reaction was fear because i don't ever want my kids to do anything that could put them in harms way.

  Hello all, here's my story.

  brace yourself, this may make you gag.. holidays were spent in service.

  some friends were having a bbq that we were invited to, i went down and asked to see if there were by-products in the wieners.. i was baptized at 15.. i asked to be baptized at 12 and to humor me they let me take the test.

  to their surprise i actually aced it but the elder convinced my parents that i was still too young.. i would run lemonade stands in the summer time and donate the proceeds to the hall.

  You have done your math!.......................6 BILLION PEOPLE...... only 6 milliom Jws.....God can only save 1 in a 1,000?.......That means he is going to KILL .............Billions of people............and you my friend are willing to risk your life to save "worldly people" in a fire.   many remarks seem to in indicate they have no redeeming believes......................i can't agree.. i appreciate lots a things about the way i was raised.. 1. pacifism, nonviolence.

  sad even though i was a pacifist, my god jehovah was an angry pissed off god who one day wants to kill most everyone...............guess he (her) needs to practice what he (her) preaches.........anyway i'm so happy that they taught me something even their god is having a hard time with!.

  2.and most important......................................well i can't remember right now......but when it comes to me, i'll let you know.. newboy.

  well the results of the english church census for 2005 have just recently been published by peter brierley in a book called pulling out of the nose dive.

  it shows that church attendance in england continues to decline at an amazing rate.

  Well its the information age!

  It seems the more informed are putting aside the stupid believes of there forfathers "the my country (or religion) right or wrong" stuff just doesn't wash anymore!---------------People are just getting smarter-------------and the Brits (on the whole) are very quick,smart and inform group of people as we all kmow.

  Sad as it seems the less informed (as a whole) 3rd world countrys however are taking a little longer to come to see what the churches are doing.

  They are dying a slow death. With the information age they are losing their young people.-------and after all thats the only way they are making JWs-------------sex with other JWs.

  Pretty soon it will be a bunch of 60s. 70s.and 80s old ladies there.-------------waiting for the Lord to come!
